TransMap Viewer PDF Print
TransMap Viewer is a tool designed for visualization of gene expression data acquired using microarray technology. TransMap Viewer employs transcription maps to uncover clustering of highly expressed genes in chromosomal domains.

The main design goal of TransMap Viewer is interactivity. Users can zoom into chromosomal regions of their interest, set of differences between expression levels using a contrast enhancement tool and compare expressions levels between experiments.

When a user selects a gene of her interest, TransMap Viewer shows its name, gene IDs and a graph of its expression profile. TransMap Viewer also provides a direct web link to gene’s entry in the NCBI database.

The image export feature of TransMap Viewer gives the users the possibility to save visualized data for later use. Both vector and bitmap formats are supported. The images can be later embedded in research papers or presentations.
